The photo is signed, "Love Bets," so this may well be Betty (Carveth) Dunn, an All-Star pitcher from Edmonton, Alberta who played during the 1945 season on the Fort Wayne Daisies with Schick. There were some 60 Canadian women who joined the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League in its 12-years history.
